CGA's core business is to investigate the existing systems, structures and corporate governance of a company or organisation in order to determine whether any changes are required to conform to the King III Code and Guidelines. Broadly speaking, our process involves probing the following areas of management and corporate governance:

  • The Board (including the role of the Chairperson and the CEO)
  • Auditing and Accounting
  • Internal Audit
  • Risk Management
  • Integrated Sustainable Reporting
  • Relations with Shareholders
  • Communication and Ethi

After investigating existing structures, CGA advises companies and organisations about what, if anything, needs to be done to bring conformance in line with the requirements of King III. A comprehensive report containing our findings and recommendations is compiled and submitted to management for their consideration. After completion of this phase, CGA can be commissioned to assist or guide companies through an implementation stage in preparation for a formal accreditation, or, if preferred, can render advice as to where such assistance can be found.

The certification is valid for a period of one year.
